Nice local spot! Friendly staff

Honestly, bear in mind, this was the first restaurant we visited since moving from Houston. Given that, our waitress, Alex, was very sweet and accommodating. The menu had variety and the restaurant was very clean. The homemade bread was excellent! I had the maple pecan salmon and my husband had the steak. Cooked to perfection and very delicious! Will definitely return as the prices were decent.

Feel bad giving it 1 star... seems like a small place and the food wasn’t terrible but it was a truly awful experience. First of all, the grilled cheese barely had any cheese and was almost all bread. Next, the strawberry dressing tasted like a melted popsicle stick. The average food took forever to come out so we asked for some bread because we were hungry. The bread was taken straight out of he fridge. It took a while to get because the waitress had to cut the bread. The bread was stale and cold. Note this review was for a few years ago (2017) so things hopefully changed but we will likely not come back.

Glad to see them back open things have not changed much. Portions small for the price.Salad with chicken was like an appetizer for $9.00, and tomatoes were extra. Waitress slow and didn't know the menu.

Not that good and a bit pricey

Food was very good, service was great but it gets really loud in the dining area due to loud people and a very loud juke box in the bar. It would be better with a door between the dining room and the bar.

The sesame chicken was awesome. The wings were tiny but tasty. My husband had a burger and enjoyed it. Our friends live the ribs here.

Last Sunday we were up the mountains in Blakeslee visiting our best friends. This was the second time we went out to dinner at Woody's. Their Chef is fabulous, very, very good bar food. They also have a small room off to the side. My husband one time got the crab fondue, I still hear about how delicious it was and hasn't tasted anything like it before. If you want good food made from scratch, Woody's is the place to go no doubt. Can't wait to visit our friends and go out to eat again. The staff is also some of the friendliest I have met.

Was visiting the Poconos with my fiance and was staying down the street from the restaurant. We stopping in for a late dinner. The bartender was very friendly and we were seated right away. Our server, Dan, was great! The clams casino was delicious. My fiance enjoyed the crab stuffed flounder and I enjoyed the Prime Rib. Was a nice atmosphere and the food was great. The staff was friendly. We enjoyed our dinner there immensely. 😊

Great soups, especially the REAL homemade French onion. Really good onion rings. Good company at the bar. A cute place.This place had a fire around Memorial Day Weekend. It's currently closed- I hope it will reopen!

Great food. Nice atmosphere. The fried slivered onion n mild jalapenos, great appetizer. Will be back.

Small but comfortable dining room. Waitress was very nice. Slow kitchen service. Had nachos and burgers. Tastes good, but the burgers were served plain ( no lettuce, no tomatos, onions, pickles. Nothing) and with a handful of fries ( less than a small at McDonalds) We took our food home and added our own condiments. Not worth the price.

Nice little place, friendly waitresses,food was okay, definitely would not recommend the shrimp scampi, it's overpriced and very bland. Bathroom could use some air freshener as well as all you can smell when you walk through the door to the bathroom is urine. Most likely will not be returning.

Just finished refurbishing after big fire. It took a year. Need a lot of TLC to get back to normal. Service was excellent.

Over the weekend after Thanksgiving day my family and I were tried of eating Turkey so we decided to go out to dinner with a total of ten of us were turned away the waitress was trying her best to tell us that they can't take large amounts of costumers we even said we'll split up they said sorry. To me this is bad Business we won't be going back again

Not sure where these good reviews are coming from but this place is lack luster, they made me provide a card number over the phone for a take out order and didn't even begin making the food I ordered 15 minutes before even arriving and was the only customer there.. as well charged an extra dollar per take out item without even them declaring it.Besides that the food wasn't even good.. and very expensive. Won't ever be going back.

The New Woody's First time back since the fire. OMG it's bright and open; a great look. Food was very good, salad greens were crisp, we had prime rib that was cooked properly. It could have used more seasoning but that is a me issue. Great wine pour; and our server Dan was very cordial. Definitely will be back.

The food was good and the bread was made in-house and was fresh out of the oven when it came to the table. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The dining room is small, luckily when we arrived we were the only ones. The only complaint I would have is the parking lot. It was not paved and it was very muddy.We will definitely be returning. Thank you!

We just stopped here tonight after tubing at Big Boulder. Awesome place. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. The chili was amazing and proportioned perfectly. Dan was our server and he was extremely attentive. Will definitely stop here again next time we visit the area.

Waitress was great, but due to no fault of her's we left without eating. We waited almost an hour and when the table with more people that came in after us got their food. We left.

Recently renovated, the place looks great. Clean and comfortable. A bit pricey but worth it. Service is great, food delicious.

I am so happy to see Woodys open again. I had the first cheese steak I have had since their fire last June. As always, it was the best cheese steak outside of Philadelphia. The interior looks great. It still has the comfortable atmosphere it has always had and Susan makes one feel like you are the most important customer they have.

Stopped in for lunch with my wife today. Not crowded at all. Lunch was delicious and host/bartender, Lois, was awesome. Home cooking we'll be enjoying again!

Fantastic, food, service, and hospitality. The prime rib, homemade, sandwich with fries is the best in the area.Recently the place has been refurbished and is family friendly.

Best and closest bar to Pocono Raceway. Whole menu is simple but enjoyable. Beer is cold. Service is attentive. An awesome neighborhood bar with entertaining local patrons.
